I’m really sorry to have been so inactive lately. A close relative of mine just recently passed away. Forgive me for putting this all on you but from what I see, I will need to extend my hiatus. Maybe when the break ends, school will whip me back into shape.
Love Always,
Lisa

Care to elaborate?
A cursive laugh rang from Lisa’s mouth, appreciating the much needed humor to color her day. “I won’t,” Lisa whispered, pulling up a finger to guard her lips.
There was still a definite solidity to Astoria’s facial expressions and gestures. She noted this but decided to brush it off. “Lisa Turpin. And that’s okay, most sly—people call me that anyhow.” It was a close slip and she managed to save it but Lisa felt dubious at the close obviousness of the words.
She watched Astoria as the space between her brows furrowed, troubled in what seemed to be a re-run of all the night’s occurrences. Lisa pulled one of her small bleach locks and mindlessly curled it around her finger, contemplating such a situation. Her mind reached around a collection of slytherins consisting of Draco, Pansy, and .. Blaise? It was such a mental assumption that Lisa pushed it out of her head immediately. She couldn’t help not thinking of such a premise after hearing talk of the group’s bicker amongst students.
“Something tells me I’m glad to have been forgetful of tonight,” Lisa sheepishly grinned while lifting her shoulders up, motioning towards her school robes. “Sounds like … people can be disruptive,” Lisa felt an oncoming curiosity for the whole mysterious happening.
Astoria smiled slightly when Lisa made the gesture and laughed. It rang in her ears and actually brought a better feeling to the frustration and anger she was feeling moments before. She couldn’t quite explain it, but she felt relieved that Lisa was here; probably because of the calm presence that she gave off. It was a nice counter-balance to Astoria’s rather… aggressive behavior.
Though, Astoria chose to ignore the obvious slip-up Lisa had made and she gave a small smile to Lisa. If Lisa had noticed that she caught it or not, she didn’t know. “Nice to meet you, Lisa,” Astoria said rather genuinely. It even surprised her how much she actually meant it.
“Disruptive, annoying, whatever you’d like to call it,” Astoria muttered some-what bitterly. “Although, it wasn’t bad until about an hour ago, I must admit. The staff decorated it rather beautifully to be honest.” Astoria gave something of a sigh and laugh, which sounded odd to her. Though, she shrugged it off and turned to Lisa again. “It was just a typical dance, you didn’t miss anything special.”
OOC: Sorry this response is way past the date expected. I honestly didn’t see this until Christmas day, LOL.
Lisa had to admit; it felt odd making the slightest of connections with people other than Luna. Difficult, to put more appropriately. On top of that, the friendly demeanor belonged to a slytherin girl. Although they seemed to be around everywhere, there was an impenetrable shell around them that had always warded Lisa away from them.
“This is pleasant,” Lisa murmured as a smile glided over her lips. “I didn’t expect to not feel lonely on the most exclusive days of the year.”
Lisa listened attentively as the intonations of Astoria’s voice produced another bitter tone towards whatever incident had occurred. She decided such drama should remain where it came from.
“Oh really? I haven’t seen it yet” Lisa responded. You haven’t seen the decorations in your whole bloody four years attending Hogwarts, you idiot. Though, eyeing the alternating green and red curtains down the corridor, she did see part of the ball’s decor leading to the great hall.
“Multicorfors,” Lisa softly uttered the incantation while pulling out her wand, pointing it directly towards the curtains. The fabric lightened to grey then finally blinking to a sheer silver with a slight metallic undertone. The new installment matched the frosty coolness of the night sky.
“The switching green and red was becoming overly seasonal. It’s a winter ball. Whoever said anything about Christmas?” Lisa chuckled, tucking away her wand.
Call Me Granger: OOC: Just a food for thought,
we should have some characters of adversity. You know, like death eaters and Voldemort. It would be fun and add some diversity to the roleplay.
I was thinking about that too, but I just don’t see where they’d fit in. Like, I really doubt that a…
Maybe! :) I don’t know though, we’ll see if we have other characters like that wanting to join.
I volunteer if we ever get into it :) Wanna dip into some evil roleplay here. lmao. xD

I was thinking about that too, but I just don’t see where they’d fit in. Like, I really doubt that a Voldemort or Bellatrix would be chillin’ at Hogwarts and walk up to a student and say hi.
Though, we did have a Tonks looking to join.
I just, idk where they’d fit D:Well for them it could be set in a different scene, not exactly at Hogwarts… like how it is in the movies…the trio are doing their thing and there’s Voldemort in the back, planning shit with his deatheaters :)
lol, my thoughts exactly. Death eaters will chill with death eaters until some planned plot line to have the two sides coincide in some mini battles leading up to one big major fight. Pretty rough outline but it’ll definitely shake things up a bit.

Lisa Turpin, likewise. Although I’ve seen you around in the corridors a bit.
Brewing Mischief | Lisa & Theo
Lisa was surprised with an unexpected grin from the slytherin boy, wondering if the rumors regarding his supposedly harsh disposition were actually true. From what she interpreted, he was not “mean” as quoted from one of her fellow ravenclaws but rather a tad prideful. But when it all came down to every personality, didn’t everyone possess a hint of vanity within themselves?
Lisa returned a small smile with less of an elegance in comparison. “Of course. I’m Lisa Turpin,” she introduced while gathering a clump valerian sprigs. Lisa paused to cock her head to the side while eyeing the dark haired fifth year, “I hear you possess a bit of a talent for potion making.” One of the first things she noticed was the slytherin’s tall, seemingly looming stature over her own petite frame. Attempting to ignore this intimidating fact, Lisa curtly handed Theodore the small glass bottle of flobberworm, reluctant to pry open the ghastly ingredient.
It was then Lisa wondered how her own potion making skills fared in comparison to—what appeared as—the young novice. Though she found the location horrid and the process to be tedious at times, she recalled receiving fairly high marks on her potions semester finals and an Outstanding on her O.W.L. examination.
Hopefully the sorting hat had chosen the right house for her.
Theo could see the surprise on her face when he smiled at her. Did it really shock others when he tried to be nice? Thinking about, Theo realized that while he wasn’t a bully, he wasn’t exactly a saint. When she mentioned his talent in Potions, he resisted the urge to groan. It would only be a matter of time before they started comparing him to Professor Snape.
“Hello Lisa, Theodore Nott in case you didn’t know,” he opened the vial of flobberworms before handing them back to her. He noticed that she was a bit on the small side, only reaching up to his shoulder. “Although I much prefer Theo. Short and simple.”
He looked over the instructions in his book, “Looks like we need the root of Asphodel,” Theo glanced over at her. “Are you okay?”
A small chuckle rippled from Lisa’s mouth after hearing the brief introduction. It wasn’t difficult to have caught an audible whisper or sound, to say the least, involving the impossibly tall slytherin around the corridors. His lack of awareness was certainly not a quality Lisa expected of him.
“Hi Theo,” Lisa returned the greeting, deciding not to mention she already knew his name. From what she could see, he wasn’t the sort who appreciated such attention. Theo even appeared irked from Lisa’s simple notary of his potion making skills. As the boy handed Lisa back the opened jar of flobberworms, she very nearly was the one to pry out the flobberworm mucus until Theo’s concern of her well being cut her short. Her eye’s traveled up from the flobberworms to Theo, which was a sadly hefty distance to cover.
“I-I’m fine,” She stammered, rather startled by how easily he saw through her. There was only one person as far as Lisa knew who could do that and it was Luna. “What makes you think otherwise?” Her own words brought her back to the time of receiving the news of her deceased guardian, who cold-heartedly sent her away to live nearly her whole life in Hogwarts and a training academy during the summers. According to him, it was her utmost important mission to either achieve high marks or face disownment. Her greatest fear was failure. And though Lisa hated to admit it, a simple sleeping potion stood as another life obstacle to test her.
“You’re different from the rest, Theo” Lisa murmured softly, very much in awe as she tried to piece together how he and Luna could coincide so closely.
Nah, you didn’t; it’ll come around again ;) Lmao.
Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

The dance had been going on for a little more than an hour now and Hermione just needed a chance to get some fresh air. Slowly departing, she looked back to study the crowded room and smiled noticing just how much fun everyone was having. Shrugging her shoulders she continued down an empty corridor carefully looking around rubbing her hands against her skin attempting to shield her from the cold. Hermione quickly jumped pack as she caught a couple snogging plastered against a corner, her brows furrowed at the sight “that’s convenient” she whispered to herself as she continued forward. Suddenly she caught sight of a girl staring out a window completely oblivious to the world around her. Quietly she made her way up to the girl her eyes narrowed as she cocked her head to the side. She didn’t recognize her at all although she did look a bit like Luna. Clearing her throat she examined her closely “are you alright?” she asked quietly before taking another step forward.
A voice traveled to Lisa’s ears and shattered her thoughts, bringing her to resurface from the depths of the night sky. To pull oneself from the bustling streams of Hogwarts and most prominently—the ball—was like a mental massage to her brain.
Lisa turned her eyes towards the direction of the voice, belonging to a young girl. She found her blue orbs resting upon a gryffindor, to her surprise. Honestly, she was half expecting to come across a slytherin at the rate of her late encounters. The girl’s voice glided through the air softly, yet still immersed in a slight dip of concern. In response, Lisa’s eyes widened in curiosity.
“I think so. There’s been a hoard of snoggers down the hall lately. I try to avoid them; coming across them is quite startling, especially when you realize yourself to be quite lonely.” Lisa’s words flowed surprisingly warmly from her lips, like a hastening stream. She hadn’t planned on revealing so much to a stranger under such circumstances.
Lisa curled her legs up as she seated herself along the platform of the mullioned window. Looking at the stars then returning her gaze to the gryffindor, Lisa speculated, “That’s a beautiful dress. But you look quite chilly in it.” She pondered on what would cause the girl to leave the warm, festive air in the ball room.
